The Marketing Guide
Logo Standards
Our logo is recognized throughout the industry, so proper use is essential in any format. Any type of logo distortion must be avoided. When in doubt about which logo to use, please contact Marketing.
Our logo is officially a registered trademark. It no longer features the ™ symbol but now features the ® symbol. It can be found in the BMS under Marketing.
Stamp Design
The engineering stamp is used in certain standard documents like letterhead, envelopes and CAD drawings. Any old variation of this design should not be used.
Documents
All formal documents (including letter head) must be in the updated version. If you have a saved version on your computer, please verify it is correct before sending. All updated documents can be found on SharePoint.
Any document with an outdated website address or logo should be discarded.
Slogans
Valley Rubber slogans are used on our website, in presentations, and even apparel. These designated phrases can be applied in various situations. Please refrain from using unapproved slogans when referring to the company or it’s products and solutions.

Email Signature
The Valley Rubber email signature is an important and often over-looked extension of our brand. Old versions with outdated logos can be discarded, and alternate uses of colors and fonts should not be used. The social media icons need to be present, as they link to the website. If you have certification badges, please work with Marketing to have them properly displayed.
Apparel, Gear & Promotional Items
Apparel– We use brand colors (black, grey, white and red) to compliment our logo. Avoid using non-brand colors such as green, orange, purple, etc. Depending on the shirt color, the logo colors may need to change. Please see Marketing for help.
Gear– Valley Rubber brands its field gear, such as safety vests, hard hats, and jackets, which can be ordered for you.
Promotional Items– Any new item must be approved by Marketing before being purchased. This is to protect the integrity of our brand and prevent unauthorized items from reaching our customers.
Mission/Vision & Core Values
The Mission/Vision statement is central to who Valley Rubber is as a company. When displaying these in presentations or documents, use the original format.
Valley Rubber’s Core Values can be displayed in its original format or with the GREATS acronym.
