Lauren Davis was recommended for the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator position at Valley Rubber by a current employee. Her desire to learn more in the field and her supervisor’s support allowed her to move into her current role as Human Resources Manager. She had no background in her role, which she feels is indicative of the company’s willingness to develop its employee’s skills.
No two of Lauren’s workdays are the same as she has the opportunity to work with every manager. She welcomes new employees through the onboarding process and assists with all pay and benefits questions. Lauren also guides employees through training and development.
She enjoys her job because she believes in Valley Rubber’s mission and how it strives to accomplish it through the Core Values. Lauren admires how the company doesn’t stop at just creating quality products for its customers, but it endeavors to serve its employees and the community.
Anticipating Needs is the Core Value that stands out the most to Lauren because she sees it lived out by her fellow employees every day. She feels it is energizing and contagious, and it causes her to want to be the best resource she can for the employees. She believes they are best of the best and they deserve her best. Lauren has been with Valley Rubber for 5 years.
